The calendar is still full this fall. Whether you're planning a spontaneous weekend away or booking something for next month, here's a roundup of LGBTQ+ events worth knowing about.

This weekend (October 17 to 18) - LGBTQ Events!

Little Rock Pride, Arkansas: Central Arkansas's Pride celebration runs October 17 and 18.

Fantasy Fest, Key West: The ten-day costume festival is in full swing (October 16 to 25), with the big Duval Street parade on Saturday, October 24. It's an adults-oriented event, so plan accordingly.

Early November LGBTQ Events and Pride!

Greater Palm Springs Pride, California: November 6 to 8, with a festival, a 5K run and walk, pool parties, and a Sunday morning parade. This year marks the 40th annual celebration, and the theme is "Be Included." Hotels fill quickly, so book early if you're planning to go.

Odyssey Pride cruise: Billed as the first Black Pride cruise, sailing from Puerto Rico from October 31 to November 6.

Maspalomas Winter Pride, Gran Canaria: A winter-sun Pride in the Canary Islands, listed for early November.

Later in November, more Pride!

Rio Pride, Brazil: Listed for Sunday, November 22.

A note on who's included

Most of the events we found are Pride festivals and general LGBTQ+ gatherings, which welcome many parts of the community. Events built specifically for lesbian and queer women, trans travelers, or nonbinary travelers were harder to find in this month's listings. If you know of one, tell us and we'll feature it in a future roundup.

Tips for planning around events

Book early. Hotels in popular event cities fill fast, and prices rise as dates approach.

Confirm the details. Dates, schedules, and venues can change, so check the official event site before you book.

Look beyond the main event. Smaller community gatherings, film nights, and local meetups often give you a warmer and more relaxed feel for a city.

Planning a trip around an event? That's what we're building Everyone.travel to help with: hosts and partners chosen for genuine welcome, across every travel style.
